OS/400 R370 Support for Novell IPX Printing

Starting with R370 of OS/400, The remote output queue function can now send a spoolfile to a Novell Server via IPX packets. The Novell server can be either on a network (stand-alone) or in the FSIOP on the AS/400 system. The following requirements are listed:

The AS/400 system must be running at R370 of OS/400.
Netware Enhanced Integration (5716-SS1) must be installed. This is an optional part of OS/400.
Included with the above feature are 2 NLMs (Netware Loadable Modules) that must be loaded on the Novell Server. One is for Netware 4.10, and there is another one for Netware 3.12.
These requirements are documented in the OS/400 Printer Device Programming manual, SC41-4713.
This support allows OS/400 spoolfiles to be sent to a printer via the Novell server. The spoolfile does not go directly to the printer from the AS/400.
