Network Station 8361 Attached Printer Configuration
Settings for a network station 8361 attached printer:
This is an enhancement of the pcl/pjl *LAN *IP configuration at R370. This configuration supports any printer language.
Refer to the following manual: Title of Manual Here, SC41-0632-02
Required PTFs include: R320 II10406 and SF99080 (group PTF)
Required PTFs for R370: SF99081 (group PTF)
For R370, on the OS/400 command line type the following:
CRTDEVPRT DEVD(NTPRINT) DEVCLS(*LAN) TYPE(3812) MODEL(1) +
LANATTACH(*IP) PORT(6464) TRANSFORM(*YES) +
RMTLOCNAME('9.5.131.85') SYSDRVPGM(*NETSTNDRV)
For R320, do the following:
Create: DEVCLS(*LAN), TYPE(3812), and MODEL(1) in the normal fashion for a Lexlink printer.
On the OS/400 command line, type the following:
CHGDEVNSP DEVD(name) PORT(6464) RMTLOCNAME(9.5.54.235)
Press the Enter key.
